All frame manufacture, mountcutting, presentation and assembly is completed in our own workshops to a high standard. We have fully equipped workshops with all of the necessary machinery to undertake almost any framing request.
Bespoke framers. We only use the best materials, wood mouldings...no plastic, but UK sourced glass, so no cheap Eastern imports with bubbles and stains, conservation quality mountboards and so on. We do not offer, use or undertake 'contract quality' framing.
We have manual and hydraulic moulding cutters (morso); Trucut computerised, Valliani pneumatic and ultimat manual mountcutters allowing us to cut literally any shape of mount and multiple apertures etc.
We carry over 300 quality frame moulding samples with over 4000 more available to order. (subject to minimum quantity) We do not use contract quality, reject or discontinued mouldings on any of our work.
We only use arquadia, whitecore ph neutral mountboard, with over 30 stock colours and any other finish available to order. All fitted artwork has a protective backboard and is correctly hinged. Any high value artwork is also fitted with a museum quality lining paper. Standard float, half diffused, fully diffused, truvue and ultravue glass is used as required. Museum glass can be fitted to special order.
All frames are finished with 'easy fit' points, mdf or coreboard back and supplied with hangers or fixing plates.
Where artwork is fitted, frame backs are sealed and they are returned to you ready to hang.
